Role of the attorney as part of the airport management team workshop

The 2023 "Role of the Attorney as Part of the Airport Management Team" workshop will be a hybrid format, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the beautiful Monterey Plaza Hotel.

The goal of “The Role of the Attorney” workshop is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge amongst public-use airport managers and their attorneys, learn new material beneficial to aviation job responsibilities with ever-changing rules and regulations, find new opportunities for collaboration and networking, all while providing valuable professional development and experience in beautiful Monterey. 

Topics to be discussed* include:

  • When The Law & The Environment Collide: Unleaded Avgas, PFAS and ESG Initiatives
  • Planning for Sustainable Initatives to Meet the Net-Zero Climate Challenge
  • A Conversation with the Western-Pacific Region Airports, FAA
  • Title VI and More: Grant Compliance and ACDBE Changes
  • CEQA: A Year in Review
  • Land Use Update: What is a "Mixed-Use Facility"? And Other Burning Questions

MCLE
Attorneys can receive 6 general MCLE credits, free of charge, when attending the workshop. When registering on the morning of the workshop, there will be a sign-up sheet for those interested in receiving MCLE credit. Those attending virtually will need to email your request with your bar number to Adrienne Patterson.
